I specialize in the rag style shabby chic quilts in just about any size. I make these beautiful quilts to your specifications including fabric choice, color choices and final layout of the quilt.
Each rag style quilt has three layers of fabric in any combination of the following fabrics that you choose: flannel, cotton solids or prints, chenille and denim. The best fabric to use is 100% cotton as it raggys the best. The back can mirror the front, be flannel(s), or a coordinating fabric(s) from the front. Everything is YOUR choice! Batting is not automatically used. It can be used, of course, but please request it to be included. THis is only a matter of your personal preference as some like it and some don't. If you desire more than three layers, there is a minimal additional charged just to cover the cost of extra fabric.
These beautiful quilts can be constructed entirely of squares, or with some triangle squares, retangles. I can even add a raggy star. heart or just about any other shape. Each square is constructed with and "X" for stability of the quilt.However just about any design can be used. I have used a plus sign, a heart, and a star. The choices are unlimited and the choices are entirely yours.

How it works:

Once you place your order or contact us via email, I will be in touch with your regarding your colors, fabric types and other decorating themes.

Next, I gather several fabric samples and email pictures of them from which you choose the ones you like and don't like. We continue until YOU have chosen all the fabrics you like for your new quilt. Any number of different fabrics is is totally up to you.

Then, I construct the individual squares and lay the quilt out in a couple of patterns and email you a picture. YOU decide which layout you like the best.

Then, I construct the quilt, you view and *approve the final quilt via email photos.

Upon reciept of any balance due, I will ship the quilt to you.
Your quilt will be washed and dried to start the raggy process.The more you launder your new quilt, the more beautiful it becomes. All material is pre-shrunk before I cut out and make the quilt so if there is any shrinkage it is prior to making the quilt.
* Please make sure all your decisions are made prior to construction. Approval means that you make sure I have done everything as you have instructed. Once the quilt is constructed to your specifications, it cannot be changed. You will have EVERY opportunity to choose colors, fabric and design prior to construction*.
